Moon phase pendant – solid pewter ring pendant that shows the cycle of the moon, comes on an 18″ tin plated trace chain.

The Moon changes its apparent shape with 4 distinct phases depending on the Moon’s position as it orbits around the Earth, and the Earth’s position as it orbits around the Sun. There are 4 main Moon phases, also known as Lunar Phases: First Quarter, Full Moon, Last Quarter and New Moon. An additional 4 intermediate phases make up the combined 8 phases that comprise the Phases of the Moon in the following sequential order: New Moon, Waxing Crescent, First Quarter, Waxing Gibbous, Full Moon, Waning Gibbous, Last Quarter and Waning Crescent.
