St Michaels Way shell brooch – a beautifully detailed solid pewter scallop shell, which is the symbol of the pilgrim route between Marazion (St Michael’s Mount) and Lelant. The shell hangs on a short chain and split ring for your keys or for attaching to a bag.
This trail crosses west Cornwall from St Uny church, Lelant, to St Michael’s Mount, Marazion. It is now accepted that walkers and pilgrims wishing to complete the Camino de Santiago ( St James’ Way) can do so by completing the St Michaels Way (19.5 km) and then walking from La Coruna to Santiago de Compostela. A pilgrim certificate can be achieved.
