The design depicts the beauty and mystery of the cover to the ancient Chalice Well found at the foot of Glastonbury Tor. Also known as the Red Spring the well is fed by a deep aquifer and never runs dry.
According to legend, Joseph of Arimathea hid the Holy Grail in the well and its water ran red.
