Rob Lowe –
I’ve had one of these buckles now for what must be 20 years. I wear it daily. It not just for dress, it’s done everything with me for 20 years. It’s taken a nice patina with a black background. I just polish up the front from time to time. Very recently the pin has started to wear out. That’s right, the metal has started to wear out… there are even dents in the back wear the leather rubs. Tough as old boots, lovely buckle. Love it to bits. I assume the new ones are made the same.
